PET REGULATIONS
It is unlawful for any pet to run at large within the city.
All pets six months or older must be vaccinated against rabies. Your vet will provide you with a tag at the time of immunization. For your pet's safety, it should always be wearing the rabies tag.
PETS AT LARGE
Any pet found at large, and any pet considered to be a public nuisance, may be seized and impounded. Owners may retrieve their pet after any impound fees, boarding fees, and fine for municipal infraction are paid in full.
Missing pet inquiries should be directed to the Police Department at 641-435-2068 or by utilizing the City website "Report A Concern" system.
PLEASE CLEAN UP
It is unlawful to let your dog or cat use public property, or private property other than your own, as a toilet.
You must pick up after your pet, for health and safety reasons.
