Mayor, Clinton "Butch" Betsinger
OVERVIEW
Butch Betsinger was elected to the Nashua City Council in November 2017. Mayor Betsinger’s term is January 2018 to January 2021.

Council Person, Angelina Dietz
OVERVIEW
Angelina Dietz was elected to the Nashua City Council in November 2017. Council Person Dietz’s term is January 2018 to January 2020.
BACKGROUND
Angie has lived in Nashua most of her life. She graduated from Nashua High School and earned her Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration/Management from the University of Northern Iowa. Angie is employed by State Bank serving as an Investment Advisor Representative since December of 2014. Prior to State Bank, Angie was employed at CUNA Mutual Group for 15 years as the Manager of Field Compliance.
CIVIC INVOLVEMENT
Angie serves on the INRCOG Board of Directors, the Chickasaw Emergency Management board, the Charles City Area Development Committee Board of Directors, Nashua Women of Today's Secretary and Iowa Women of Today's program manager. She is also a member of the Nashua Area Chamber of Commerce and Toastmasters International.
FAMILY
Angie has three daughters and a boyfriend. Her family includes her parents and 5 siblings.

Council Person, Tom Johnson
OVERVIEW
Tom Johnson was elected to the Nashua City Council in a special election in March 2016. He was re-elected November 2017 to serve a four year term. He is the mayor pro-tem.
BACKGROUND
Tom is a life-long resident of Nashua. He is a barber owning and operating Vic and Tom's Barber Shop for 32 years carrying on his father's business. Tom is a member of the Iowa Fire Service Training Bureau Field Staff. He is a member of Iowa Fire Chief's Association and Iowa Firefighters Association.

Nashua High School, Waterloo School of Barber Styling and Waldorf College Bachelor of Science in Fire Science Administration
CIVIC INVOLVEMENT
Tom serves as Fire Chief for Nashua Volunteer Fire Department. Serves as the cities representative for Floyd Mitchell Chickasaw Solid Waste Agency Board of Directors. Has served on the N-P Booster Board. Has tried to be a positive supporter of all local organizations.
FAMILY
Tom has been married to Shelly for 31 years, they have 3 children and 4 grandchildren.
